Manager, Store Experience

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Manager, Store Experience to lead and elevate the customer journey within our stores. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance the overall shopping environment, drive customer satisfaction, and foster brand loyalty. You will partner closely with store operations, visual merchandising, and technology teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful in-store experience.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute strategies to optimize the end-to-end customer experience within our retail stores, aligning with brand standards and business objectives.
• Analyze customer feedback, sales data, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in the store environment.
• Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to ensure compelling and customer-friendly store layouts, displays, and signage that enhance the shopping journey.
• Partner with store operations to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and empower store teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Work closely with technology teams to identify and implement in-store technologies that enhance the customer experience, such as digital tools, interactive displays, and point-of-sale systems.
• Develop and implement training programs and resources for store teams focused on customer engagement, service excellence, and brand experience.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of store experience initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for future enhancements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in retail customer experience and identify opportunities for Gap Inc. to differentiate itself.
• Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization, championing the importance of exceptional in-store experiences.
• Manage and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience in retail management or a related field, with a strong focus on customer experience and store operations.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing customer experience strategies that drive positive results.
• Strong understanding of retail store operations, visual merchandising principles, and customer service best practices.
• Experience working with in-store technologies and understanding their impact on the customer journey.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
• A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and a deep understanding of the retail landscape.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
